When I was approved for SSDI I was given a list of the rules. One of them is that they have the right to check my account balance at any time and I CAN NOT ever have more than $2000 in any account at one time. They make it a crime for a disabled person to SAVE UP MONEY!
Luckily, my dad died and I was put on disabled orphan benefits (is that not the worst sentence content you have ever read? “lukcily my dad died…” what the fuck kind of sentence is that?! I should be struck by lightening for that sentence. /laughs).
Point: is this proposed law disgusting? Yeah. Is it surprising? Not really.
